What the integration does
The RentKit Shopify app runs embedded in your Shopify admin. No separate login. Configure everything from the interface you already use.
Product Sync
Import Shopify products into RentKit or link existing inventory items. SKUs, prices, images, and stock quantities sync automatically. Supports product-level and variant-level mapping.
Quote Request System
Configurable quote flow - checkout only, quote only, or both. Built-in fields for name, email, phone, company, event date, delivery address, and notes. Plus custom fields with 14+ input types.
Real-Time Delivery Rates
Register RentKit as a Shopify carrier service. Rates calculated in real time based on distance from your warehouse. Configurable base rate plus per-mile multiplier.
Bulk Customer Import
Import Shopify customers with full contact details and addresses. Automatic deduplication by email. Update existing records or create new ones.
Order Webhooks
Automatic order sync when orders are created or paid. Orders flow into RentKit for fulfillment, inventory updates, and invoicing - no manual entry.
Theme Extension
Liquid blocks for product pages and cart. Quote request forms embed directly in your Shopify theme - customers fill out event details without leaving the product page.
Rental Period Settings
Set minimum and maximum rental durations, cutoff days for advance booking, and future day buffers. Control exactly when and how long customers can rent.
Shipping Configuration
Base rates, distance multiplier (per mile or km), maximum delivery radius, rounding options, delivery instructions, and hours of operation per day.
Product Linking via Metafields
Shopify products linked to RentKit inventory through metafields. Batch processing (25 at a time). Works for single-variant and multi-variant products.
Sync Dashboard
Monitor product sync status at a glance - synced, needs sync, mismatch, or missing. Filter by status and fix issues from one admin view.
Blackout Dates
Block specific date ranges from quote requests. Validated server-side so customers cannot submit requests for unavailable periods.
Flexible Checkout Modes
Run checkout-only (standard Shopify purchase), quote-only (collect quotes, disable checkout), or both simultaneously. Hide prices in quote-only mode.
Quote request flow
Embed quote forms on product pages and in cart. Customers fill out event details and you receive a structured quote in RentKit.
